"'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and
be joined to his wife,
and the two will become one flesh.'
This
is a great mystery, and I am applying it to Christ and the church" (Ephesians
5:31-32).
The Sacrament of Marriage, by which a man and a woman
form with each other an intimate communion of life and love, gives
the couple the grace to love each other with the love of Christ
for his Church. The Sacrament of Marriage is celebrated throughout
the year. In order to properly prepare for this sacrament, a couple
must contact one of the Parish priests at least six months prior
to the anticipated date, and participate in Pre-Cana classes.
Please call the Parish office at 744-8566 to schedule an appointment
with one of the priests or deacons before making any other arrangements.
Weddings are celebrated at 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on
Saturdays, and 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. Nuptial Masses
are held on Saturdays only. |
