Altar Servers are liturgical ministers
who assist the priest and deacon and Mass and at special liturgies
during the year. Altar Servers perform their ministry so that
our worship can be more prayerful and meaningful. |

This ministry serves God and the faithful community
by bring his Body and Blood to our fellow Parishioners. Eucharistic
Ministers attend a training seminar given by the Diocese, and
additional training is available for those who wish to minister
to the sick and homebound of our parish. |

A lector, in Latin, is a broad definition for
a person who reads, aloud or not. The first part of the Mass,
the reading of the scriptures, is brought to life by the Lector.
This ministry celebrates the Word of God at our weekly and
daily liturgies, and at various events throughout the year.

Ushers are Ministers of Hospitality. Ushers
are men or women, teenagers to adults, who assist at weekend
Masses and other services. Ushers greet parishioners, assist
in seating, collect the monetary gifts at the Offertory, help
maintain an orderly communion procession and respond to any
special needs of the parishioners. |

Since liturgy is the “primary and indispensable
source from which the faithful are to derive the true Christian
Spirit…” (GIRM), this committee’s work is
also indispensable. The Liturgy Committee helps plan the liturgical
seasons, sacramental celebrations and other liturgical events
of our parish, including Thanksgiving, Advent, Christmas, Lent,
The Triduum, Easter and Pentecost. |

Our music ministry serves to assist the assembly
in prayer through song and instrumental music at Mass and special
liturgies throughout the year. The choir’s repertoire
includes traditional as well as contemporary selections. Rehearsals
are on Tuesday evenings in the Church and performances are
at the 10:30 Mass on Sundays. |

Cantors are leaders of prayer and animators
of the community's worship. Cantors enhance the prayer of the
faithful by leading the assembly in song during the weekend
Masses. Rehearsals are scheduled on an individual basis by
the music director. |

This group of musicians assists in the celebration
of the 12:00 noon Mass on the 2nd and 4th Sundays, by performing
contemporary selections of songs that enhance the liturgical
word. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 8:00 p.m.-10:00
