Friendly Visitors visit a homebound
person at their home. Spending time with a homebound person
can really brighten up their day! Friendly Visitors do not
provide any other services (they do not fix meals, do errands,
etc.) - they just visit.
Members of this ministry visit a homebound person once a
week to provide companionship, share stories of faith, and
listen, and is a very rewarding activity for all involved. |

The concept of stewardship embraces
a spiritual relationship with God. It is not a program, but
a spiritual consciousness or way-of-life, based in Scripture,
which holds that all we are and all we have flows from God's
varied grace. In turn, we serve as spiritual caretakers of
our spiritual and worldly blessings.
Members of this ministry are devoted to discovering and communicating
the theology of stewardship and its applications to parish
life. Members must be comfortable talking about stewardship
and encouraging others to participate in parish activities.
Members plan the renewals of time, talent and treasure and
the celebration of ministries on Pentecost weekend. Members
of this committee share their insights and collaborate with
others to promote stewardship as a way of life in our parish. |

Monday, Wednesday, Friday from
9:30 to 10:30 in the lower Church.
Walk/Dance Group was founded
in 1987 and designed for the Seniors of the area. Each session
begins with warm up exercises followed by a brisk march around
the room, followed by several numbers from our large selection
of routines, then line dancing and cool down exercises. Our
various routines are fairly mild exercises often using dance
steps. The atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxed, thanks
to the music adapted for each activity.
The Seniors,
feeling great and grateful, gladly make donations to the Parish
Outreach.
Come and join us. |
